Rey Rivas

President & Co-Founder

Rey Rivas stands at the intersection of sustainable development and construction leadership, bringing over seven years of experience across residential and commercial projects. He is the President and Co-Founder of Green Terra Construction, a values-driven company focused on sustainability, preservation, efficiency, and disciplined execution.

Rey holds a Master of Sustainable Real Estate Development from the School of Architecture at Tulane University (May 2023) and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology & Business from Southern Nazarene University (2016). His academic background reflects a balance of technical expertise, business strategy, and principled leadership.

He is a licensed Commercial Contractor (License #69001) and Residential Contractor (License #886618), and holds GPRO and OSHA 30 certifications, reinforcing his commitment to safety, performance, and sustainable building practices. Rey is also an alumnus of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program.

Rey is an active member of the Home Builders Association of Greater New Orleans, where he has served on the Board of Directors for the past five years and participates in national leadership initiatives through the association. In recognition of his impact and leadership, he was honored as Home Builders Association Rookie of the Year in 2022.

Since co-founding Green Terra Construction in 2016, Rey has led diverse projects with an emphasis on quality, efficiency, and long-term value. His leadership has strengthened client relationships, expanded industry partnerships, and introduced innovative building practices that improve performance while reducing environmental impact.

Today, Rey focuses on strategic growth, project oversight, stakeholder relationships, and advancing sustainable and preservation-focused development across Louisiana and Texas. His leadership philosophy emphasizes disciplined execution, transparency, and accountability—building systems and teams that deliver consistent results while honoring long-term stewardship.

Esteban Rivas

Estimator & Co-Founder

With over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, Esteban Rivas brings deep technical knowledge and hands-on leadership to projects ranging from residential homes to shopping centers, schools, and hotels.

Beyond construction, Esteban is deeply committed to service and community leadership. He serves as co-pastor of the Church of the Nazarene in St. Bernard Parish, where his work extends beyond buildings to people and purpose.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Esteban recognized both a physical and spiritual need in South Louisiana. He relocated from Dallas to St. Bernard Parish to contribute his construction expertise and provide spiritual guidance during a critical period of rebuilding and recovery.

Whether leading construction efforts or serving the community, Esteban embodies dedication, resilience, and service—bringing experience, integrity, and care to everything he does.
